Chapter Seven

Everything seemed to be ok for the time being. They ran around the house holding hands, lauging infectiously and always with beaming smiles on their faces. It is what love is supposed to be: sheer unabated happiness. Thats not to say there werent rought moments. She hated it when he came home late. She knew he was just working, but she was never able to get that thought of him and the intern out of the back of her head, no matter how much she felt the intensely growing love between them. She knew she would have to get rid of sometime. Really, she just hoped she would grow old and he would grow old and ugly and no one would want any of him, as screwed up as that might sound, it was what she hoped. She didnt see any other way for her to stop worrying about it.
